Terms of Service

Tavolo lets you book a table or place a pickup/delivery order with a participating restaurant by talking to its AI host or using the app. The restaurant, not Tavolo, is responsible for fulfilling your booking or order.

Prices, availability, opening hours and delivery areas are set by each restaurant and shown before you confirm. A confirmed order or reservation is an agreement with that restaurant.

Where you pay in advance, payment is processed securely by Stripe. Refunds and cancellations follow the restaurant's policy.

Use Tavolo only to make genuine bookings and orders. Don't misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or submit false information.

Tavolo provides the technology; the restaurant provides the food and hospitality. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory local consumer law.

For restaurants operating in Germany and the wider EU, these terms are governed by the law of the restaurant's country of establishment, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights.

Everything above is written for the guest. A restaurant's own relationship with Tavolo is set out in the order form or pilot agreement it signs with us, and that is where the subscription term, what it costs, notice and cancellation live. Nothing on the public pricing page changes those terms.

Under the GDPR the restaurant is the controller and Tavolo the processor, so a Data Processing Agreement under Art. 28 forms part of that agreement. It is published in full at /legal/dpa, together with the current sub-processor list on the Privacy page. Read it before you sign; a countersigned copy is issued at onboarding.
